This drinking club with a running problem.
Welcome to the Online home of Newcastle Hash House Harriers (NH3).
Newcastle Hash House Harriers (NH3) is a non-competitive running club where the emphasis is on the social benefits of group activity.
We meet every Wednesday evening (run commences at 7pm sharp) and the first Sunday of the month at 11.30am at a different location (usually a pub) in and around the North-East.
Our runs are a Hare and Hounds type format, where a Hare lays a trail (in flour) that the pack have to follow.
The trails are organised such that runners/joggers/walkers of all ages and abilities will complete the course in approximately the same time.
There is no joining or membership fee, just come along and run for fun whenever you like (a small subscription of 2 pound covers a drink and snack after each event).
Over the last 25 years we have been setting trails to explore the whole of the north-east (and on some trips, some foreign fields).
